Terms of service

SECTION 22 — GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and the Services are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Quebec.

Subject to any mandatory rights granted under applicable consumer protection and procedural laws, any claim, dispute, or legal proceeding arising from these Terms, the Services, or a transaction with Création Juar inc., operating as Distinctive Distribution, shall be submitted exclusively to the courts having jurisdiction in the Judicial District of Joliette, Quebec.

For consumer contracts, this jurisdiction clause does not restrict any right the consumer may have to bring or defend proceedings in the judicial district of the consumer’s domicile or residence, or before any other court having mandatory jurisdiction under applicable law.
